Do you mean that checking the parent box moves the object every time you change that option and that you’re suggesting that the position remain the same?
The green position plane is relative to the center of the field, the place where models that are added first show up. The position of the object is recorded on the green plane, when you parent the object the green position plane is no longer relative to the center of the field but is relative to the parent.
What I think your suggesting is that the objects’ position info should change when you parent it, that way the object does not move.
I hope I understood you, if so than I agree for the most part, but what if when you parented an object to another that you just changed the position info. So if you moved the object that was the parent to the other object +4 X on the position plane than the program would do the same for both objects. I hope that makes sense.
