Rendering black screen

I cant render my animation!

I updated my videocard driver, restarted my computer, redownloaded the program, tryed out all settings, closed all running programs, but after rendering the whole video is black. Im using the codec Microsoft Video 1.

Please help!

You can try getting a different codec, try downloading camtasia. 

 

Or run in compatibility mode for an older version of windows.

 

Out side of that your computer doesn't want to play nice and you might have to use a different comp to render.

Yeah mine did that on my Battle of the Steves video. So I used fraps to record it.
