Alright, I already discussed this on Twitter but since only one follower knows about Mine-imator and how it works (he knows who) I'd like to hear suggestions posted here on forums.

After making the very first animation with Beta 0.5.2 I got excited about Minecraft animations and started working on the idea. Now all I wanted was small place that would work like night-club but since I'm not much of a builder, I asked friends for help. Little did I know that those "friends" were total freaks and after a while we ended up not only with a "gathering place" but also with whole freaking village/town. And that's when the whole problem comes in. Even though the base was built on super-flat world, the schematic had about 176kB in total. Thing is, Mine-imator seems to be able to handle only stuff as big as 10kB so making a fly-through around city having little people gathering around is probably not gonna happen. After asking around I came up with several possible solutions and I'd like to hear your opinions on which could probably work the best.

1) Split the whole thing into smaller segments, load them up and then assemble them together like a jigsaw, then work out some reasonable camera angle that would allow me to switch off the visibility of the segments in order to reduce lag as much as possible...

2) Use some 3rd party program which however is gonna require some way to export schematic into something the program can work with (Like Blender...)

3) Do a flythrough in normal minecraft utilizing mods and add the citizens later with use of greenscreening method...(I don't have enough slots on that server so recording a crowd scene in Minecraft is not an option)

4) Forget it and focus on something more realistic such as let's play of some random adventure-map using mine-imator for "cutscenes"...
