How Do I Make An Ocean?

Hello everyone. I am making an animation with the swedish ship schematic. However, when I make the schematic, it just spawns on the grass. I would like to change the grass to water. Is there any way you can just change the color of the landscape? Or do I have to make continuous blocks of water? Please let me know if you have an answer. Thanks!!!

Go to background and then that terrain thing click the water and then you are done!
