Transparent part of Skin goes Black?

I have no idea why, I was trying to use Zeusx Facial rig and it pointed out a problem with my Mine-Imator I didn't even know I had, it made the transparent areas pure black, Just doesn't even register the areas as transparent, just black. I could use some help because this happens with all skins with a transparent part. I use Paint.NET so they are actually transparent in the original image.

The image file has to be .png and Minecraft registers black parts as transparent too, so check if they're actually transparent. I hope i helped.

It is .PNG and in when I open it in Paint.NET (which is MS Paint but with more tools and transparency) it is transparent, but it is black when I put it in Mine-Imator.

 

I found another person with a similar problem and it seems Paint.NET is the problem, I may have to download something else, but I am not sure if it is Paint.NET

i had this problem too. just when you save it, save it as 32 bit and nothing else.

Ah thank you, I already fixed it by using sumopaint rather than Paint.NET though I prefer something I am familiar with over Sumopaint,

Another way to prevent it is to use the textures from the actual game itself
