Create your own skins?

Hey everyone!   I've got some pretty cool skin ideas but i'm not sure whats the best way to create them. I've been going into Paint and editing skins there, but I was wondering if you guys could recomend some cites were I can go and get/create skins that i'd be able to use in Mine-Imator. I've got a video I'd like to share with you guys but i'm having trouble editing and posting it but it should come up soon.

Thank you EnderDave nova skin is very much easier then using paint.   You guys should expect to see a vid soon.
