  10. Where I've Been

To cut right to the chase: A couple years ago, I began my transition away from Mine-imator. I initially switched over to SFM on early 2022, where I continued to make renders, now with less blocky aesthetics. Having a more realistic look allowed me to have more freedom when it came to making the renders I wanted to make at the time. Not to mention, after making renders and animations with the Minecraft aesthetics for many years up until that point, I was growing tired of it. Then at the end of 2022, I switched over to the big piece of FOSS 3D software: Blender. It wasn't my first rodeo with Blender. I tried to use it many years ago as a kid, but it was so confusing to me that I gave up. Though this time, it felt different. Armed with my brief experience with SFM, and my years of experience with Mine-imator, the transition went surprisingly smooth. There were still bumps, but there were tons of great Blender tutorials on YouTube that helped teach me some things about the software. I was, and still am, having a blast using Blender. It's a fantastic piece of software.
I will always remain grateful to Mine-imator and its devs (David, Nimi, et al) for giving me an easy to use piece of software that allowed me to make what I wanted with a UI/UX that was friendly, welcoming, and simple. If anyone is looking for an easy start to 3D, I recommend Mine-imator. For those who have grown more experienced and want something more powerful, I recommend Blender. I'll probably go back to using Mine-imator if there's a cool collab being hosted that has the use of it as a requirement, but other than that, I can confidently say that my time with it has long since passed.
With all that being said, thank you to everyone for all the support on the stuff I've posted here, and for rightfully pointing out my shortcomings, both as a creator, and as a person. I'll probably share some of my Blender stuff on here eventually, if and when I remember to xd.

  11. Being payed from 30$ to 60$ with cryptocurrencies per minute of animation made based on an opinion, and adding to that the task of making 3 minutes of animation per days ? Well, that's just a dream, when I work on a basic animation with quality in mind, it takes me a day to make just 20s and it's a REALLY BASIC animation (someone sitting at a campfire) with a SIMPLE SOUND environment (fire, wind and 3 gunshots) and without counting the preparations (scenarios, dialogues, storyboarding, accessories, sceneries and other). So, if we base this on my experience, for 3 minutes of SIMPLE quality animation, you would need at least a team of 9 animators (without counting modeler, artist, SFX creator, film editor, etc), and I don't think 9 peoples would like to work for a pay ranging from 3$ to 6$ per DAY (and maybe even less since there could be other peoples employed in the team). Adding to that, cryptocurrencies are not stables as well as becoming less and less profitable, this salary could even go lower.

  16. After many months of texturing, shading, modeling, re-texturing, tapering, sitting in the corner, I've recreated the TF2 stock weapons. Yes, every single one, even the gadgets (1), Most were easy, but some were just....making my brain hurt. There is one problem, some weapons are not the same size, so you'll have to manually correct them. RISTRICTIONS: No Retexturing Dont claim that it's yours Do not mess with the tapering parts --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Feel free to credit me, https://drive.google.com/file/d/1nC8bkQI9RG8RXyFc10bFnqtkJisAqLN-/view?usp=sharing
