Hey, my name is Lajenaco. I am an amateur animator, and I am working on a project known as 'MCGMS Project'. I'm really stressed out, because 90% of the work falls on me. Which is why I'm here, searching for volunteers. Why volunteers? Because I can't pay much and have trust issues regards online transactions. I posted some details on my YouTube channel (It's not a video, it's like an essay of me venting at how much work I need to do.)

So, first problem that I doubt I'll ever manage by myself; good builders for the scenery. If none, then I must force myself to build the scenery despite me being very bad with colors and shapes. I've already sketched a draft for the whole map, and... It is a huge map. I need to create three drafts for different generations.

Some things that I must do by myself but will probably need help; design new biomes along with new plants and new mobs. I need to create the skins for my characters, starting from nothing but empty boxes because I don't like taking random characters. That's more than 30 lore characters and more than 30 extra characters. What miracle must I perform to design all of their skins despite me being very bad with designing? I need to create my own visual effects, particle effects, background music... I need to create the name and model for both fantasy creatures and weapons from my own ideas... I need to create my own rigs. I need to create my own models for various materials...

Some things that I'll do by myself; promote this project in other platforms. Write the whole novel, completely my original work and I must protect it from getting stolen. I have 21 other series (Not Minecraft related), which are also my originals waiting to get written. I'm not fueled by greed, I will not prioritize gains over quality. I create using the best of my skill, but I still have limits.

And, no. They are not arcs, each of them are novels. This is a huge project, but no funds yet. If you're not interested to help because there's no payment, then that's okay. Whoever read to this point, I'm glad enough for just that. I'm treating this as some sort of movie production, so the roles for now are:

We are very under-staffed, and needs a builder the most. An artist too, but I plan to do that in the future. This might take 2-6 years since I am still learning animation. If it was only the novel, then there won't be any problems. Unfortunately, I refuse to publish a novel only for a good animator to steal it and never credit me as the author. It's also easier to promote something if there's a video, so I must work hard for this. I actually want to create a manga too, only if I was bestowed talent for drawing, but... Nothing.

Edit: I forgot to mention that each episode must range from 10-20 minutes. Of course, I'll do my best to do that. My only problems are the basic resources for animation; since I want my work to be original as much as possible. Other than 30-??? episodes that I must create, there's also more than 10 music videos in my mind. Progress report? I've written the whole outline for the novels, and I'll start writing chapter by chapter soon. Character names and background? Check. Story lore from the start to finish? Check. Is it messily written or too cliché? Nonono, my friend. I myself as the author found myself becoming a mega fan. I can't offer money just yet, but I promise to never steal anything from anyone reading this. I will credit the contributors, and if this project earns, I will pay them a share depending on how much they've contributed. Ah, I've already sketched half of the full map. Once I'm done, anyone interested can try building it. I am not good at drawing, nor am I good at designing. I'm planning to learn, add architecture stuff to my problems since I need good buildings in mind.

Lastly, I won't go around asking for help if I am not interested in helping my fellow strugglers. I can't offer great things like animating or providing resources, but... I am training my imagination, though, it's mostly me trying to stop it from creating more lore. Yes, I don't mind helping with lore. I especially want to make myself more creative, not like I am not, but I want to reach a greater level. I want to be able to form an idea just from looking at the floor. If I'm able to provide a good idea, I certainly won't forgive if I am left out from the credits. If my idea is less than 30%, while the other 70% is on you, then it's okay if I'm not in the credentials.

This sounds like an awesome project. Pretty much the whole first paragraph is my thing. I like to be anonymous, and it really isn't a trust issue to not like online transactions. I'm the same way; they can be pretty shady. As someone who has in the past had malware snuck onto my old computer, I understand completely.

 

I love this whole idea. I'm a pretty good builder in Java and Bedrock, I'm an intermediate animator, I'm terrible at rigging, I'm actually also a freelance writer and I love to make animations. This project sounds like exactly what I'm looking for. I'm not the greatest, but I'm willing to help. I'm willing to build, animate, script-write, conceptualize, and generally help out with whatever you need. I am also pretty good at building natural looking biome-type areas. I've recently been working on a fairly massive cliff in Bedrock, I plan to attach a screenshot to this comment. Oh, I forgot to mention: I also write music, so I would be willing to create a custom score for you. I'm not the best, but I can make some decent-sounding stuff.
