Image hosting site for my previous posts is gone, any way to recover them?

I've been gone for a while, and I've noticed that the site I used to host a lot of my images (imgsafe) has since disappeared from the internet. I've moved computers several times since, so I don't have my old projects anymore. Admittedly, most of them weren't any good, but I would still like to have access to them. With the image hosting site gone, I'm not sure if there's anything I can do. Does anyone have any ideas on potential recovery, or are they gone for good?

When it comes to hosting, I would make sure that you're using a trustworthly option, I would also go for something more open source.

Optionally, if you have the spare hardware laying around, you could also selfhost your own server and do more than just hosting images. I selfhost a lot of things here at home and prefer doing things this way.
