How can I import a .miobject into Model bench?

actually, there is a way, (im using mine-imator violet so it may not be the same) there is a file with a "+" sign on it, its right beside the "New project" button, when you click it it will ask what the file is, you select your miobject file and import it, and BOOM! just like that, your miobject is in your project

to get the moblect 

go to modelbench then go to open new model

then you will see an slide down button

then u will see an option called load a template

then a window will pop up , in the bottom right 

there will be options to import models

deafult will be the ''ModelBench template mbteplate*

and there is mine-imator model ''minodels*

and modelbench backups ''mmbackup*
