like painting your models and stuff, that's my report

From what I know it's kind of the same reason for why he wont add minor features for 2.0 when he added major features already. He is way to far in the development with the 2.0 (Keep in mind this is the last update he will be working on.), so getting a new feature like the painter system for MB is not on his priority. (Apart from IK support to MB which will come later after 2.0 gets a final release version.)
