Shadows of Steve and a friend imprinted onto the ground. Did ya know this actually happened during the Hiroshima and Nagasaki bombings in the 40s. Also the sound used when the bomb explodes in the animation is taken from an actual atomic bomb test

you could have made them like small and then get bigger the closer the characters are to the ground, but its good anyways, great job!

I tried various methods of adding in an explosion but in the end I chose stock footage because I was getting frustrated

I tried following a tutorial made by Sharpwind where you use spheres that are affected by wind, but each time I rendered the animation the spheres would wobble way too much

There's a profound lack of explosion particles and explosion tutorials which is disappointing
