The codec I always use it one called TechSmith Capture Codec. You can get it by installing a program called Camtasia studio, which also has a great recording tool that comes with it (the editing tool itself is not good however).

Hey "Fossa" i installed Camtasia and i dont see the Tech Smith Capture Codec :|

all codecs give me this error: Windows Media Player cannot play the file. The Player might not support the file type or might not support the codec that was used to compress the file.

Also none of them will allow me to import to sony vegas, I use lagorith loss-less when I compress with dxtory, why does it not work with mine-imator? 

 

I am running 0.7 released this year (2014)
