How can I import .miobject into modelbench?

From My Experience You can. But I forgot how. I can open up modelbench again, but it's on my laptop that are in Coma phase. So I forgot to tell it how.

you can't

.mimodel is a model, which is what mb uses. .miobject is a collection of literally anything parented to eachother.

you are probably just importing a .mimodel that is a part of the .miobject.
