Disable all particles from spawning

Hiding them does not save memory because they are still being loaded and taking resources. Why would you want this?

 

Well, imagine you make a 10 minute animation and you use snow particles. You have a ton of keywords for snow particles that you enable/disable depending on where the character is (for instance, the scene is inside a house, then you don't want the particles spawning on top of the house since they would fall throught the celing, so you would move them next to the windows, then once the character goes out, there would be another object instance spawning particles outside, and so follows. Point is, you want to disable all of this to work at a faster framerate, without having to manually disable each keyframe and ruining the automation that you have done with the keyframes. The only solution would be a button that disables all particles (again, the button that exists now just hides them, doesn't stop them for spawning). Pressing C just clears them, doesn't disable them. There's no way to do this now, so a way to do it it's needed.
