When I'm working in MI, I often use F5 for real-time rendering (which ends everytime with "rendered in X seconds"), but I sometimes press F4 (that shuts program down, simpler version of Alt+F4) and I will get question: "Do you want to save your project before quitting program" (it's probably a bit different, but that isn't important) and I have only 2 options: Save or Quit. Better would be to add Cancel button, it can save the time.

btw MI on my laptop loads after 2 to 5 minutes

I asked Nimi about this once, and he said due to the engine used to make the program or something "Once you press that red X or close it by any other means, the code to shut it down starts and cannot be canceled" I paraphrased that and it happened like, close to a year ago? So I don't know entirely what he said, but it was similar to that. Sadly, we can't get a cancel button. :c
