First off, you need to download an icon for ModelBench. I am not a fan of the ModelBench icon anyway neither can I an HD version of it. So just download this one and put it at the root of the ModelBench folder, also the ModelBench folder must be at the root of your home folder and it must be named "ModelBench". Make sure you're using wine!

Now in your terminal, do the following:

cd /usr/share/applications
wget "https://korbsstudio.com/download/ModelBench.desktop"

Now we need to change the path in the .desktop file to fit your username.

sudo nano /usr/share/applications/ModelBench.desktop

The line that starts with "Exec" and "Icon", change korbs to your username that you have set.

Then check your application menu, if you did this right, it should be there.

Thank you, Linux brother.

Even though I don't use a desktop environment, nor do I use Bödelmensch.

Kinda learned how a .desktop file works because of this. It was fun too, now I can play around in there if I want.

Yes, just because you don't like it surely means that nobody else likes it.

How can I run mine imator on linux?

Just download the installer for Mine-Imator and run it for Wine. If it's not able to open after installing, then download the ZIP file instead of the installer.

I wrote a post about this back in 2017
