So instead of annoying people with consistent new topics of single comic strips, I'll just do this.

I will put the website (as crappy as it is since idk how to code websites) on here. Read through the comics as you please. I will also put the character bios here so you aren't confused by as much. When I make a new comic, I will post it here as a response, so that way I won't have to make new topics each time, and discussion can just stay here instead of being spread out on tons of topics. Plus, it makes reading the comic easier since it's all in one place.

http://minepets.the-comic.org/comics/first/  (starting with the first one)

And here are the character bios of the characters that have shown up so far that are from Housepets!, the comic this is based on (in order of appearance in Minepets!)

Please note some characters are mentioned that haven't appeared in Minepets!, I will update and add them in as they appear.

Peanut

Spoiler

PeanutSmall

Peanut is ultra-enthusiastic with most everything he does, which mostly consists of playing ALL KINDS of games. On top of that, he’s an extraordinarily fast reader (though whether he’s a fast learner is up for debate).

Peanut is usually portrayed as generally energetic and happy. He has shown to be innocent and somewhat slow on the uptake at times, yet he has a kind and caring personality. Peanut can be naive, though not too gullible, but commonly relies on Grape to explain something for him.

Peanut lives with Grape, and has a crush on her, despite the fact that she’s a cat. Recognizing this hasn’t stopped him from waking her up from her nap while in a panic, which he does quite often. He also has a girlfriend named Tarot who came to him under extremely odd circumstances. He is also okay with this.

Grape

Spoiler

GrapeSmall

Even though she’s younger, she often acts as the big sister to Peanut, given that she’ll refrain from hurting him even if he’s bothersome (for the most part) and even try to intervene on his behalf. This is part of what gets Grape into trouble so often.

She has ongoing disputes with the neighborhood dogs, mostly out of her disdain for them, but also because she can dance circles around them for fun, and rarely get much more than an angry stare or attempted beat-down. She can’t do anything about the balance of power, but it doesn’t matter to her, it’s just something else to pass the time.

Looking at Grape from the outside, she doesn't seem to be as outgoing as her brother Peanut. But given the proper moments, she has proven to be brave and creative, though she's mostly sassy and sarcastic. She's not above resorting to violence and threats to fix problems however.

Her boyfriend is Maxwell and they make much snuggles. (I copy-pasted this from the website don't blame me)

Tiger

Spoiler

TigerProfile

A dog with an unfortunate name. When he was adopted as a pup, his owner was not aware that being named after a cat was a social h-bomb for dogs. (Other bad dog names are Leo, Felix, Sylvester, Cheshire, Figaro and Tabby) The other dogs will not let up on this, and it’s driven Tiger to become agressive and paranoid.

Additionally, he has an eating disorder, which stems from his constant emotional problems. In all, isn’t he a wonderful character to have in a comic? Sort of like a mix between Garfield and Heathcliff–oh.

What separates Tiger as his own character is the fact that he has become mentally unstable due to constant teasing from the other dogs about his name being cat-like. He is quick to threaten someone (mainly Bino) that he will kill them, and became exceedingly paranoid when Zach moved into the family home. He also suffers from an eating disorder, and is known to eat an excessive amount of food when he is distressed. It was mentioned that he can consume up to 57,000 calories in a week and not gain any weight.

Marvin

Spoiler

MarvinSmall

Tiger’s cat-sibling, who is more patient and understanding with Tiger than the dogs. In fact, most of the cats are more patient and understanding with Tiger, and that doesn’t help things one bit.

Marvin is Tiger's brother who commonly is seen hanging around with his brothers, Tiger and Zachery, at some convenient pet-height table. He also usually shows up to stop Tiger when he gets out of control.

Marvin comforts his brother whenever he needs it, and keeps him from doing things he'll regret during his anger sprees, such as killing Bino and his family. He also tries to be supportive of his dog-brother's rare constructive efforts for which he is usually rewarded with a share in the embarrassing outcomes when everything inevitably blows up.

Zach

Spoiler

ZackProfile

Adopted on Christmas, Zach is the newest member of the Arbelt household. He was rather hyped up after being in the pet store since he was a kit, but now he’s not sure he likes being a pet, especially with the inattention he’s given. Most recently, after running away from home and subsequently rescued, the woodland animals have started calling him Opener of Ways, which, despite giving him the attention he wanted, he does not appreciate much anymore.

Zach was adopted on Christmas and lives with Tiger and Marvin. He is very shy and timid, often worrying about this and that, but more-so by the fact he isn't noticed often. He often spends time writing in his diary, or working on his novel. He was deemed "The Opener of Ways" by the Woodland Critters when he tried running away and accidentally opened an ancient temple, a title the woodland critters came to religiously worship. He has since regretted the decision, and is annoyed by the fact he is falsely idolized, as well as had holy prophecy named after him, despite not doing anything himself. Zach plays the straight man in a crazy world, and thinks everyone except him is nuts.

Karishad

Spoiler

KarishadSmall

Karishad usually serves as comic relief, as his wacky antics amuse, confuse, and annoy his friends, especially Keene. Despite his strange and somewhat deranged behavior, he does have a crafty side to him, such as when he tricked Keene into getting locked in the ferret pen.

That's pretty much it. ?

Tarot

Spoiler

TarotSmall

Peanut’s girlfriend is a Pomeranian with ultra super psychic powers, and can commune with the spirits in order to see into the future, which she does quite often. She doesn’t explain the constant inconsistency with her power’s use or why everything has to be part of an ultra-dramatic mystical war or some such, but she can make like a holodeck with her mind. So what are you gonna do, complain?

Tarot is rather quiet and polite, and acts rather sweetly. She is very knowledgeable and serves as Peanut's other go-to for an explanation when Grape isn't around. She is generally level-headed, but can easily be annoyed by some things, though she considers Peanut's naive attitude cute, even stating that she admired his "blunt honesty."

With her psychic gifts, Tarot can accurately predict the future through various tools whether it be with tarot cards or a crystal ball (later replaced by the new crystal tablet), but she can also use her abilities without tools for assistance. She has also demonstrated an ability to speak inside of Peanut's head, telekinesis, and can create realities with her incredibly strong sense of imagination.

Mr. Bigglesworth....All of them

Spoiler

TheBigglesworths

There are at least eleven cats with the name Mr. Bigglesworth, and they’re all Siamese or Siamese mixes, most are not blood-related, and some of them are even female. They chalk it up to their owner being a crazy cat lady. A few of them have fun with it in order to mess with the heads of animals who aren’t aware there’s more than one.

The Bigglesworths are a group of Siamese cats that share the same owner, who named every one of them "Mr. Bigglesworth", including the females. There are at least eleven of them (the most show at the same time so far). Because they all share the same name and look very much alike, it's hard to tell them apart, their owner or themselves otherwise. In fact, it's so hard to do so that they had problems telling who is male or female. Still, there is one who easier to mark out because he wears eyeglasses.

Fox (as in the dog, not an actual fox, or Karishad the fox, or Fox McCloud)

Spoiler

FoxSmall

Fox: Wears dogtags. He’s the smart one, which means he’s almost as smart as a cat. But I kid! He’s friends with Bino mostly to the extent that he still has some lingering issues of his own, including his personal aggravation with cat-lovers. He will go along with Bino and back him up because he’s his friend, though his heart is not often in it. He became fast friends with King after he moved into the neighborhood.

Fox's most defining trait is his unwavering loyalty to his friends. Originally head-strong as a puppy, fancying himself a ninja-model hero, he mellowed as he got older and became a member of Bino's posse. He also used to share Bino's disdain against "cat-lover" dogs. However, after Grape saved his life, Fox began to question his anti-feline prejudices as well as his faith in Bino's leadership. At the same time, Fox also became a friend and fan of Fido, Bino's brother, an object of hero worship and acclaim by all members of the Good Ol' Dog's Club. He likes to spend time reading books and is warm-hearted and calm most of times, but gets easily angry at Bino.

Bino (Bi-no, not Bean-o)

Spoiler

BinoSmall

The ringleader of the neighborhood dogs and chairdog of the Good Ol’ Dogs Club. That is, to the extent that his older brother Fido isn’t around. Bino derives the respect he gets simply by blood relations. For most dogs, that’s good enough, nevermind the fact that Bino is almost nothing like Fido. He’s envious, greedy, stingy, obnoxious, petty, and downright mean, and if you know a little something about dogs, that can rub off rather easily.

Bino is constantly scheming to gain something, to manipulate someone else into doing his dirty work, or just being nasty and insulting. He also has an inflated ego, boasting about skills he doesn't have or trying to make himself look better to the others. While he does come off as a massive jerk, he is just an immature dog with a superiority complex. Bino especially envies his older brother, Fido, a police dog who is strong, brave, selfless, kind, intelligent and everything else that the truculent Bino is not. As president of the Good Ol' Dog's Club, Bino constantly tries to control the canines of Babylon Gardens and browbeat them into treating him with awe and veneration. In reality, the members barely tolerate him, usually because he provides them lunch.

Almost from the beginning, Bino appears as neurotic and narcissistic. He obsessed about covert "cat-lovers" in the Club and tries to get Peanut expelled over his drawings of Grape. To Bino's chagrin, Fido restores Peanut's membership and allows Grape to attend Club meetings (Grape likes dog biscuits).

Max (don't ask about the bite mark on his ear)

Spoiler

MaxwellSmall

Maxwell likes to be snarky and caustic far more than is healthy for a cat, and it shows. He lives with Bino, and often eggs him on because his exaggerated sense of self-importance makes Bino especially fun and easy to torment.

Max is often known as ‘that annoying neighbor cat’ by the owners of other pets, and instead of sleeping like most cats, he gets his energy by being annoying. It’s almost like photosynthesis, only with grinding on peoples’ nerves instead of sunlight. Max isn’t the leader of anything in particular (who'd follow him?), but he’s friends with all the cats in the neighborhood for better or worse.

He is Grape’s boyfriend and gets all the snuggle benefits thereof.

Maxwell tries to be suave, daring, and romantic, but what he really is is a deeply insecure, slightly desperate alley cat who, at times, gets himself locked out of his home. His attempts at displaying sophistication, wit, and poise usually end in failure, if not humiliation. Maxwell's self-doubt issues are further compounded by Grape's constant fawning over muscular animals or truly talented individuals like Res. Still, despite his pretensions to heroism and worldliness as well as his taunting of others, Maxwell is often capable of real sensitivity towards others, baring his soul and his vulnerabilities, and being surprisingly selfless. He has even, cautiously, shown Bino, his favorite victim, a momentary flash of concern on a rare and fleeting occasion.

I’m fine with you posting new topics for the comics ?

Yes, but for anyone who wants to read from the start, it's way easier to have it all in one place
