The lighting is pretty flat, I'd suggest making it daytime and messing with the background settings to make it look like night while keeping the shadows. This video is super helpful.

I love the concept here, and it's not too bad for a beginner. I look forward to seeing more from you!

2 the texture of the door does blend well with the resource pack so it ist really necessary
