More ideas.

Another simple one. All objects have a graphics tab on the right, listing things like, Cast shadows, Glow, Affected by Wind, SSAO, and so forth. I had an idea for another checkbox to be added to the list. Literally, 'Affected by Bloom'. Pretty self explanatory; if the camera has bloom activated, this object will not be affected by that bloom effect.

I'm adding a surface directly in front of the camera as a layer, but it's sadly glowing because of my bloom, which I want to keep.

Any thoughts?

Bloom is an image post-effect and has no relation to what objects are in the scene, only the color of pixels in your rendered image.(Like color correction, vignette, etc.) If you want to put images on top of your render, you're best off doing it in another software so it has no relation to the post-effects Mine-imator is making to your render.
