yeah, i don't really know how to use fringe but i did like the effect it produced in this situation. i'll keep this in mind

i use lensdump, which preserves the image's quality. unfortunately it also preserves its full 16 MB filesize. i'd use imgur but it JPEG-ifies everything that's over a megabyte in size and that kinda sucks
