I woudl recomend working with two principles of animation to make this much better imo. Squash & stretch and anticipation. The second one is important, and would make watching and understanding the narrative of the final animation much better(I know this is a test)

Here's two videos out of a playlist "the principles of animation" retold by Alan Becker. Enjoy :)

Squash and stretchhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=haa7n3UGyDc
Anticipation: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F8OtE60T8yU

NOTE: I would strongly recommend watching the rest of the series as it gives you great overall insight into what makes an animation good.
