I decided to make a picture with a few friends looking and pointing at fish, however when I put the Salmon fish model in the water, I couldn't see it. I put several other mobs into the water (A villager, pufferfish, and salmon), and I can't see any of them. When I turn on the render, I see the outline of the models and their shadow, but I can't see their texture.

I thought "Oh, it must be a bug in using a custom biome." because I was creating an atumn theme. So I changed the theme back to default. I checked the water, and the same thing was happening. So, I came here with my bug report. The one thing I don't have is a crash or error report.

Step by Step Process:

Spoiler

1) Open a schematic with water. (I used one of the Lake schematics in Nature, it wasn't downloaded from the internet)

2) Choose any Mob/Model (It doesn't really matter which, I used a few)

3) Move them into the water.

4) Yeah, that's it.

I think I have eveything included, if I don't just tell me.

It's because the render depth of the schematic is the same or lower than the render depths of the other objects in the scene. This means the schematic sort of overrides the other objects, but I think the SSAO (the reason there are shadows in corners and in between things) is handled separately which is why you still see those shadows. You can fix this by selecting the schematic, then opening up "Graphics" in the properties for the schematic and making the "Render Depth" setting something like 1 or 2.
