Open Source Mine Imator code!

Recommended Posts

To allow us to make games with the same engine as Mine imator. I know this sounds fricked up, but i actually want to make some funny trash games.

He did release the source code a while ago, but that was when he didn't expect to update it anymore. Now he's given it to Nimi and updates will continue, so I doubt the source code will be released now.

EDIT: I'm only just now reading your post fully. What do you think source code actually does? It's built in GameMaker, the source code won't help you make games.

GameMaker is made for games tho.

It's been public for a while now. https://github.com/stuffbydavid/Mine-imator

Wait, you've been updating it?

I thought it was a one-time thing David made a post about, and it was never touched again.

Wait so can we just take this and use the new mineimator?!

without the blocks of course

If you have GameMaker Studio 2 Desktop and don't mind any bugs and the fact that it may be unstable due to being WIP, sure go ahead.

Waste of time, it's already written in GML. There'd be no point in making a separate engine, even if it wasn't.

Yes, it costs $100.
