BLENDING MODES for objects!

I don't know if this is possible with Game Maker, but what if you could add a blending mode (such as multiply, screen, or overlay) to objects? I can think of a lot of stuff to use this for and would love to have this in the program.

Here are some I think should be put in:

I assume you got that out of Paint.NET

Normal would be... normal

Overwrite would be render depth change.

I'm talking about being able to see through the object with the blend mode, affecting the color of everything behind it.
