Hi. So i was playing around with Modelbench and I found that bend acts sorta differently with 3d planes, so I eventually came up with his flag model. Enjoy.

It's pretty flexible. It bends on all 3 axes. The texture is very easy to change.

Also, if anyone can manage to make a semi-realistic wavy flag in the wind with this, send me a link, cause i certainly can't do it xD

Bye

True, but I though it looked alright. This model looks fantastic because this guy knows how to use MB.

It's not that yours was bad, but this model simply was impossible before 1.1.3 xD. The concept can also be used to make a bendy sail for a ship, but it lags like heck with large objects: david told me it has a lot of calculations to make when bending 3d planes.

Hello, i have a problem, i'm making a model with a tongue using this method but when it bends it also rotates in the same axis.

If you don't understand me, what i'm tryng to say is that if the part bends in the x axis, it rotates in the x axis too.

Hope you can help me :)

YOu mean it rotates on the edge of the tongue and not the center?
