If it isn't possible right now, can we add this in a future update?

I just go to the data folder where you installed modelbench and delete the .mbrecent file

Actually, there's an easier way to clear out your recent models list. If you hover the right side of your listed model, you should see a "close" icon appearing.

Seems like it was a bit of an oversight, which will be fixed in an upcoming patch!

1.1.2 in arms 1.1.4 to add your arms has been been 1.1.2 arms do not do the best, but 1.1.4 also does not
