What would you need every single one for?    They range a whole lot in time period and functionality so I can't really imagine someone needing every single gun here.

Anyways I've considered doing that before but that adds another layer of difficulty in the already long and cumbersome process that is updating the Armory, so for the time being I've decided that it isn't worth the trouble.

Update 25 (Christmas 2020 update):

Merry Christmas y'all!   I hope you've all been able to spend some quality time with your loved ones today. (and did so safely, with the pandemic going around)

I figured since the WWII Update's taking so damn long (a little more about that below) I should atleast give y'all something for Christmas, so I figured I'd do a couple of iconic weapons featured prominently in a certain very popular Christmas movie.

Weapons:

-Added the AUG A1 (a demonstration video for it should be out soon, i'll update this comment once it's done)

-Added the Beretta 92F (requested by @Duychung under the US military designation of M9)

 

About the WWII Update:

Turns out I bit off far more than I could chew with this one, so it's taking a whole lot longer than I originally intended and I've been getting burned out pretty frequently.   Additionally, the trailer for it has become almost a project of its own due to its rather excessive scale.  (for reference, it's gonna be a lot like a Battlefield trailer)

It's still coming, but it'll probably be like February or March of next year.   I'm sorry it's taking so long, I hope that at  the very least it's worth the wait when it comes out.

 

Also, the Armory recently hit 100 upvotes (97 upvotes and 3 "wow"s), so thank y'all for that.   : )

Merry Christmas and happy New Year to y'all.   Thanks for supporting this silly project of mine for over two years now.

Sorry for the late response.    I definitely plan on doing some Wild West era weaponry at some point hopefully sooner rather than later, but your request is very vague.

Could you specify some specific weapons or atleast types of weapons (e.g. "lever action rifle") you want to see?

Please make them blocky like your shotgun rig pack, I wanna use these with the Remington 870 from that pack.

I know its already here, but I'd also like the M1911 with the same blockyness as your shotgun rig pack

If you want them in that old style for consistency and nothing else, I'd be happy to make an 870 for the Armory.    But I assume it's that you've got a preference for the old style, in which case I'd recommend trying to replicate it yourself as they're pretty simple and (I imagine) easy to copy.

The Modelbench Armory is a collection of weapon models made for Mine-Imator users by request, to use in animations, still renders, or anything else you can think of.
Feel free to use them for whatever you please, no need to give credit although it is appreciated.
Sounds are included with all gun models, although I recommend you use your own.

The Modelbench Armory is conceptually based on Überkiller's now-defunct Mine-Imator Armory.

Guidelines for requesting models:

  Reveal hidden contents

-It's fine to request a different variant of a weapon already present in the Armory (eg. you can absolutely request the MP5K despite the MP5A3 being available.)

-If the request is very vague or is a whole type of weapon (eg. "rocket launcher") I'll try to pick a better-known weapon or one that works pretty well for that category in general (eg. the RPG-7)

-Fictional weapons (video games, movies, etc.) are allowed.  If the weapon is a renamed version of a real weapon then it'll be referred to by its real name.

-Toy weapons (Nerf, etc.) and guns that aren't weapons (Like the Portal Gun) are not allowed.


-If I'm unable to find sufficient reference material on a weapon I will almost certainly turn down the request.

-If it's not made as a weapon but is known for being used as one (eg. a baseball bat or frying pan) it is allowed.

-No excessive requests.   There's only so much I can handle (or want to do) and if I think a request is too much then I will decline it.

-You may not request the FN F2000.

Terms of use:

  Reveal hidden contents

-You can use these models in anything you want, no exceptions really.

-You don't have to give credit although it is appreciated.    Just don't claim you made these.

-It is fine to modify these models however you want for any reason, but don't publicly release modified models unless I give the go-ahead.

Some very basic tips/advice:

  Reveal hidden contents

-Try to research the weapon you're using and find out how it works on a basic level and use that information in your animation.   It'll help make it more believable.
Or at least try to avoid the Hollywood bottomless magazines trope.
You can get some basic information about whatever weapon(s) you're using, along with the source for the sounds, in the "Info.txt" document.    With that being said, I still recommend doing your own research.

-I recommend scaling down most models for any animations excluding first-person ones to about 0.8, as they're a little bit large due to MC's weird character proportions and me trying to keep consistent pixel sizes.

-Use particles for both the muzzleflashes and impacts.    They're great for making gunfire (especially in combat) seem more powerful.    I'd recommend watching this video, it has plenty of useful information on the matter.

-And just in general, try to pay attention to detail.   This isn't really specific to gun animations or the Armory but just try to have detail in not only the environment but the way objects move and interact.    This includes stuff like ejecting spent rounds out of a gun, paying close attention to rounds fired and having reloads when necessary, and more.

ATTACHMENTS

Every attachment has an attachment type in parentheses, and can (atleast within realistic bounds, you can do whatever you want really) only be attached to weapons with that attachment type. 
These are pretty much only meant for firearms, not melee weapons or anything else like that.
You can find what attachment type(s) a weapon has in its info .txt file, if applicable.
The "Custom" attachment type means it doesn't use any standard mounts and is generally attached to a gun permanently.
Muzzle devices instead have what round they're meant for in parentheses, and should only be used on weapons with a matching caliber if you want to keep things realistic.
Also please note that magnified sights do not include any zoom/magnification setups, and you'll have to set those up however you want to get a zoom effect.

In other news, I'm ditching the hiatus because with how absurdly long the WWII update's taking it just isn't worth it to pause everything else.   Next update will be on the 10th for the Armory's 3rd anniversary, and I'm gonna try my best to not let a single unfulfilled request get to 3 years old.
The WWII update's still gonna happen, overblown trailer and all, it's just gonna be less of a priority.
And no, this isn't an April Fools' joke, just a poorly timed announcement.

UPDATE 27 - The Anniversary Update / The Hiatus Was Way Too Long and Didn't Actually Pay Off Update:

So, I had put the Armory on hiatus with the intention of focusing solely on the WWII update so I could get it out on time...

That didn't exactly go as planned.   ._.
