I'm hoping to make it  into a series with more characters

My comment on what you said, Read the colored sentence you just said, my answer would be below.

Like what everyone does, put it on youtube. Downloading it is a pain and not worth a while.

Especially that this is your first animation. Most newbie animation are not that great, like my first one.

If you're aiming that high, i'm rooting for you. Making a series means you already made a story. To me, anyone that does that is one creative person.
