You're thinking of a Bonfire not a Fire pit

No one "hates" something, if the quality is bad, we say it's bad. Doesn't matter if you're new or not, we will say something is bad if it's bad. 

 

Onto the rig, eh.. It's just logs surrounding fire particles, which Im pretty sure aren't even yours. This is pretty basic and could be a lot better. For a first? Eh, I guess it's alright.
