Please consider using these as they may help future animators.

I have an idea that you can use to make Mine-Imator better.

  • First of all, I would like Mine - Imator to include different controls that allow you to select the object or entity. You should keep the original version and add this to a preference.

What it would look like (Using cinema 4D for this since the rigs already have this)

  • I'd like to have a grid put in the program that can be enabled from the settings that mark out the lines of where blocks end.

(Using C4D as an example of the grid system. NOT ACCURATE!)

What it would look like (Using cinema 4D for the grid)

  • Another good feature would be that the legs stay in the same place if you move the waist (This allows better animations and smoother sequences).

  • Mine-Imator should also have a feature called drag to move as this can give a more realistic look to animations.

What it would look like (Using cinema 4D for this since the rigs already have this)

  • Let me go back to the entity controls, adding control poles can make the rotation of the legs look realistic and smooth

  • I feel like this would relevant to these changes/update. Adding a measurement system.

This post is based only in my opinion. I don't write as developer.

Very ambitious ideas. True, it'd make animations easier to make, but remember that implementing all of these features will take incredible time, especially that graphics in Mine-imator, other than Blender or C4D, is not based on triangles, but on shapes. Also GameMaker has very strict limitations.

Maybe in very, very, very far future, when Mine-imator will be rewritten to C++ and will use OpenGL (seriously I think it will never be done), these ideas maybe will be implemented.

Currently - sensible ideas: yes, it will be introduced: not now (it means in far future or never). I think that we aren't going to make OpenCinema4D xD

Ask developers for more information :)

At first I didn't know it was made in game maker. Until my friend William told me.

if you love cinema4d so much why don't you just marry it
seriously though these are some good ideas, but i don't think they could be pulled off in gamemaker

I already have married this software named 'Cinema 4D', It's just an idea. Not saying for it to be exactly like Cinema 4D.

Hey there! :)

The majority of the changes you suggest (i.e., handles for joints, being able to pose the whole arm by dragging the hand) all come down to the implementation of inverse kinematics, which is unfortunately not part of our plans because of the enormous amount of work required for it to function properly, especially for such a small development team.

As for the other suggestions, those definitely sound more reasonable and will be forwarded to the dev team! Thanks for your suggestion!
