Mine-Imator for other computer platforms

I know this may not be possible, but having mine imator on other computers besides windows would be a great thing I would like to see one day! It doesn't have to happen now but it would be cool if it made it to mac, linux, chromebook, ect... As i said, it doesn't have to happen now. but it would be cool!

Use Wine. It'd be hard/impossible to port it to other platforms as it uses Visual C++ and DirectX, Windows exclusive things. (I'm pretty sure.)
