The Images you saw were 2 Different universes. Not the same universe.

So you wanted to know how to improve the lightning?

Well as you see there arent any any shadows visible and it looks well not rendered try to make it so it has more of a rendered feel to it. Like adding lamps only facing in one direction etc.
