Blocky Character rig that isnt Minecraft-ish

Okay I know Minecraft is blocky enough, but well, it lacks necks, so, yeah

I thought I might as well put this rig up for download, 

It can be made into this (With effort):

Although, this isnt the type of rig where u can just add in your skin and it works. Nope.

Its all self textured. yes even the body parts, which I will, in detail (hopefully) describe to you how to texture it.

Okay so. since this rig is mostly created out of cubes, and not much original body parts (Except the arms and legs, but even so the alpha is set to 0)

you would need to texture the body yourself, (Not user friendly, I know)

so heres a guide

(p.s. I recommend you not to use a heavily shaded skin. try making your skin hv the base colors, only)

 

heres the body, saperated in order to make the textures more visible

for that, you're gonna have to use this template: 

 (This can also be found in Mine-imator itself. thats where I downloaded this template)

Basically you're gonna have to make these three textures:

(the chest)

(the, middle..?)

(The hips)

My skin is simple, so it works out easily.

and here's the parts of the skin that you're gonna need to cut

(Chest)

(middle)

(Hips)

you, kinda have to work your way around it, to make it work

thats, pretty much it to be honest.

EDIT: OKAY so I forgot to mention, when you resize in Paint.Net, you gotta change something, 

Its Bilinear by default, so Change it to Nearest Neighbor

 

 

incase, any of you (who actually downloads this thing), wants to use Skibbz's SFR rig, it pretty much works the same way, but you gotta uncheck the scale box

You can use this to make a trove-like character from the game Trove, Thats how I really see this rig ( In other words, Perfection at its finest, Imma follow you now ) Best character rig ( @Joshinja ( ಠ ͜ʖಠ) Good luck, Competition is rising )
