Rubik cube... in Mine-Imator!? - Interesting Concept

Hi! So I haven't seen any "interesting" posts for a while so I came up with this idea, a rubik cube in Mine-Imator!

Unafortunately, it's limitated. It can only do all those movements you see on the gif.

So I was wondering how can I get the 6 faces to work because, you know, a rubik cube has  43.252.003.274.489.856.000 possible states, so it's kinda imposible.

But in fact, I do have some ideas on my mind that may get it to work...

You'd have to manually animate each "small cube" to make the different states possible.

But they must be parented to rotate...

I'm sure there's probably a way of parenting each block to something in the centre so that they all move like a real rubiks cube should. This has intrigued me now I'm going to try it out

i've been thinking about it for quite a while

if anyone makes a fully functional rubik's cube my mind will be blown

Maybe make the middle cubes of each face parent a cube in the middle. Then the same to the other cubes so it wont spin out of control. idk in all honesty because i havent tested it out yet.
