Transparent backgrounds?

How do you make the background of an animations transparent?

David said that he will make it before, but I see no option now.

Be sure you have fog/ DOF disabled. 

When you go to export an image, click on what the blue is circling. 

(Ignore the nasty chair rig, I was just rigging something random for fun yesterday)

When exporting as an image, check the "Remove background" option. Videos cannot be rendered with transparent backgrounds, you'll need to use chroma key effects for those.
