Hey everyone, I am working on a (Secret) rig and I was wondering if any one knows how to make a surface play an animation? It would be nice if someone could tell me how. Thanks. TJs3

idk what you mean, maybe you are trying to show a video in the surface

well you can but you have to download the video in frames as png's and every frame you have to change the texture of the surface to the next frame.

but if you want in the texture section of the surface you can select a camera and it will display the thing that the camera is seeing (this trick also works if the camera is not visible)

You'd have to make each frame a separate image. C4D can do this, but it is extremely PC intensive. Like we're talking about either crashing or 0.1 FPS.

That's just my "super amazing" PC though.

EDIT: Just read what Mafa said. Yeah, same concept.

I'll make Mafa's instrustions easier to understand:

1) Create a surface using workbench menu

2) Choose a texture or camera which do you wanna to attach

3) PROFIT
