The title doesn't make sense. The fallen rival as in whatever that character is in the background. It looks like its standing. Im just inferencing that You're rival is that thing in the background.

 

k. lets take a different approach and say you are the rival but then that wouldn't make sense seeing your character is in focus. Shouldn't just be called the fallen Competitor/challenger/contender/hero/ Some cliché word thing I don't know

 

but meh I give it a 8/10 k

You should think of it this way..

He is my character's rival but also my character is his rival, so it should make sense.
