Gradients ... what to say more?

ok so gradient, as you see in this picture right here there is a background starting with 1 color and shades into another one on its way.

This is made using the gradient feature on powerpoint, its very easy to use and unlimited possibilities. this would be also good for in-program texturing, if you look at the elbow on the bottom you see that there is a texture, if gradients where added that would be so easy to make in a couple of seconds and it would be also help full to who don't want to get photoshop or download anything because of viruses.

I say no,

Mine-Imator isn't an image editing software, and I think it is not needed for David to pt resources into creating this when 90% of (good) wallpapers are being edited in an image editing software afterwards anyways. Even high quality wallpapers created with Maya or Cinema4d will get edited with Photoshop or a similar software afterwards.

yeah i know but that is just for a quick smooth color change, i was thinking he could make a button next to the color changer thingy, once pressed it will bring up another color thingy ... you get the idea i think
