I like it! Might be quite cool to see where you could take it further. Play around with the idea a bit more and such. I dunno, I think there's a lot more you could do with this concept.

Oop, sorry, missed  your response there. Hm... might be cool if you try something like, as the Steve explores the world the god attaches new chunks/biomes onto the side of the world for him to travel to. Could also be responsible for dropping mobs in, that sort of thing. Your call really, there's lots to explore and play around with.
