This is just a random animation i made. If anyone has tips on rendering, like how to get rid of the black bars, higher quality, and the proportions of the animation, i would love to hear them

This was pretty good.

 

As for the black bars, what screen size are you rendering in? If Mine-imator is the ONLY thing occupying your screen when you render, the black bars shouldn't be there. At least, that's the case for me.

 

As for high quality, try using a different recorder. Go to Settings ---> Avi recorder. There are 3 recorders that come pre-installed, but I think you can install more.
