Hello again! This survey had 47 responses, that's 7 more than last time! Progress! It's time to review the results of the April 2019 survey! Some interesting comparisons to the previous survey, I'd love to hear what you guys think. New organization system that looks and feels much nicer than the previous survey btw. Hello! The Mine-imator Forums Survey is a biannual volunteer survey that aims to learn a little more about the users of the forums and get their opinions out there. It's completely anonymous, so we don't take IP addresses, it doesn't ask anything that lets us identify you, and it doesn't ask any genuinely personal questions. It's all about your experience on the forums, not who you are as a person. We used SurveyHero for the first survey but due to limitations that made the survey taking experience slightly obnoxious, we've switched to Google Forms. The first Mine-imator Forums Survey was conducted July 1st, 2018, with approval of former moderator, Emunator, and it was more successful than I anticipated. So, I decided to set a biannual schedule for bringing the forums together and learning more about each other. This thread is just to have a central place to find the information from specific surveys over time. As such, it'll be updated with each new survey. Schedule: Spring survey is April 2nd, and the Fall survey is September 30th. Completed Surveys July 2018 April 2019 October 2019 May 2020

Hello hello! Welcome back! The results for the recent survey I did are in with a total of 40 different responses! There's some juicy stuff in here, so get ready for a wall of text because I'll be going way in-depth. Grab some popcorn and a friend, and let's jump straight into it. First of all, the statistics. The average time to complete it was 12 minutes, and I'm glad that was twice as long as I expected since I wanted you to take your time and read carefully. 2 people started but didn't finish. Jerks. (jk luv ya <3) There were 40 total people who actually took the survey. When did you join the forums? Do you consider yourself a newbie? How did you find out about Mine-imator? How did you find out about the forums? Do you actually use Mine-imator? What do you use Mine-imator for? What do you use the forums for? When a new user posts a rig that looks pretty bad, what do you do? Do you keep in touch with people from the forums outside the forums? And now, for some quote questions. If you're getting sick of pie charts you're gonna LOVE THIS. Is there anything you're tired of seeing on the forums? If you use Mine-imator, why do you use it instead of other alternatives, such as Blender or C4D? Do you actually play Minecraft? Do you judge people based on how much rep they have? How inviting to newcomers would you say the forums are? How comfortable do you feel on the forums? How much would you say the forums like you personally? How good, overall, do you think the forums are for sharing and looking at creations? If you could describe Mine-imator in one word, what would it be? If you could describe the forums in one word, what would it be? Why do you still visit the forums? Phew! That's the end of it. With the new version 1.2 of Mine-imator that we have known, I wanted to do a survey to know what they think about it, to know what versions are currently the most used by the community and why they use it. In this way we can know the opinion of the people and take better advantage of the program. Hello, everyone! So I had a lot of questions about the forums as a community, and their varying opinions on certain topics. So I decided to make a survey! It's 37 questions and if you take your time and read through the questions carefully, it should only take about 6-8 minutes. I say 37 questions but a lot of them are actually just continuations of an answer to a previous question. I would love if you would take your time and read through them carefully, and be honest with your answers. Everything is completely anonymous, and I can't see a single thing about who's answering. I asked Emunator whether or not it was safe, and he said it was totally fine, so you shouldn't have to worry about anything there. Without further exposition, the link to the survey is down there.
