  1. So mine imator 2.0 is coming! And it showcased some of Its features. Then I found out that mine imator is made with a weak game engine. Soo my suggestions are 1. Change the game engine yes, mine imator is made with a weak game engine, so I suggest take mine imator and put it to another game engine (which is high quality) like unreal engine or unity. It is fairly possible as in gta trioligy definitive edition, they just took the game from the game engine then imported it into unreal engine 5. Advantages: * With this we can have more advance lighting like in blender and can make more advanced animations * It will be very useful that in a weak game engine it takes soo much time to load. Others are faster so it would be very greatful. 2. Able to make folders in library tab This feature would be very useful as when we load the fnaf sl rigs from darl. The library tab is so full So we should be able to make folders in the library to make it just a folder and make it neat. Advantages: * We can keep the library clean and delete anything in the folder which will perish the items in the folder. * I think we can avoid lags. 3. Texture maker mode Texture making is very hard. There is no other websites that can make mine imator textures (unless you can make it) If we can add it in mine imator It would be very nice to make maps meaningful. I made an example which they can use as reference (please don't tell that this is terrible as I am not an artist) they can do it as a website or in mine imator Advantages: * We can make a specific map and then texture it to look like it is an accurate map * We can make many maps for example fnaf, poppy playtime, etc 4. Being able to delete textures So you accidentaly added a texture which you didn't wanted and you aren't able to remove it. This is a problem also for me while I was making glamrock bonnie and foxy fnaf sb by retexturing freddy and roxxane. This is what others will do If they didn't know about modelbench. Advantages: * Can delete texture which we don't want * Useful for making models in mine imator. 5. Able to change dimensions. Some people want this feature in which we can toggle between 3d and 2d. We can make it like we are playing 2d game. Advantages: * no such advantages as this is a suggestion 6. Able to make custom keyframes This could be very useful for blender users as we can't make custom keyframe in mine imator as always here is an example And we should be able to toggle back to normal and to the blender keyframe mode Advantage: * Useful for blender users. So these were my ideas for mine imator 2.0 Wait this isn't over yet......... I have ideas for modelbench also!!!!! 1. Add circle Please add curves to modelbench as it is useful to make realistic models. 2. Add a feature which help us to make textures We are not able to make textures so we should be able to make textures in modelbench like blockbench or elso everyone will start using blockbench with mine imator export plugin. I want to offer one idea to you =3 The idea is to change the display of shadows on the surface of the texture, namely, so that the shadow occupies its one pixel of a texture. Of course, it is not quite clear in words, so here are some examples that were changed manually with the help of the editor and an example that was created from crutches, but in which you can fly independently. And here's video that perfectly fits the idea. Take a closer look at how the shadow changes pixel by pixel And comparison =3 It would be even better if it can be switched (Although this is natural, not everyone will use this feature!) Well, how do you like this idea, users and developers? Will it look pretty? Do you like this idea of stylized shadows? And is it possible to implement it?
  4. Here is Chenny, translating Kamen Inu’s suggestion about Mine-imator. In the videos, some excellent bending skills are demonstrated with the help of the following setting. This setting, which is unavailable in the new version, allows us to bend with no limitation and to make creative works. The new version 1.2.6 no longer works whether the unlimited bending on or off, and bending over 180 degrees is considered 180 degrees. If this setting could be modified, more wonderful works will be created. This could be useful for making limbs that have more than one joint in a single part (i.e. fingers, tentacles, wrists on forearms, ankle joints on legs, etc.) If used, it shouldn't be possible to add a bending point on top of an existing point, as that could cause really weird errors... BUT if this does get added, there might need to be some changes in Mine-imator, for example: Listing/Displaying the bending points for easy selection and positioning, and Controlling each bending point in the animator
  6. Have you ever been EXTREMELY bothered when you need to spend 2 minutes adding more frames for, EVERY ASSET?! well uhh, yeah… we need shortcuts, basically…. yeah…. Sooo uhhm, devs? mind adding a few shortcuts… it would make this much easier…. as an example of sorts maybe F5 or F6? anything really, anyways.. im gonna go animate...

Well , recently while I was using mine-imator , I found out that there maybe some features if it existed in mine-imator it would add many more features , well as in the title : Custom hierarchy like : a button for custom hierarchy setting , then more buttons will appear like : position : only y , only x , only z , reverse x , reverse y , reverse z ....etc rotation : only y , only x , only z , reverse x , reverse y , reverse z ....etc also maybe adding another feature like parents can be effected by keyframes , or it can be parented with another object at the same time like : - follows the x of object1 - follows the y of object2 - follows the z of camera - follows the rotation of object3 well that's it I guess , hope the idea got properly into your heads ! andd idk , it may be a good idea !

I figured "Why Not", but today would like some suggestions for free After effects programs that don't need much ram and that can run on a directX 9 or 8 type... thing... becuase my computer is bad (I don't know directX stuff, I'm only 13) Or a after effects program that I can put into a Usb/Flash Drive so I can download it on my computer then use a different and better computer. and free Programs please, Thx

Hey so ive seen some of my work (even if its not that much) is getting good comments so i decided to take some suggestions for making rigs or skins and maybe particles (not big particle stuff so dont get your hopes up... not to be rude) so you can say and there is a 90% to 80% chance i will do it depending on what it is becouse if its very very complex (like huge robot, mech or tank) i may take too much
  14. Okay, I have been using Mine-imator for about two years now, and as a seasoned Mine-imator (Mine-imator animator), I have suggestions that will surely speak for a lot of people. 1. Surprisingly, we can wait for that Undo Button. As much as it can save our butts, the issue can be worked around with care and patience. No, my number one, most urgent request is Integrated Audio. Honestly. We need to be able to input the sound track we're animating into the interface so we can hear being played back while our animation runs in real time. That would be an amazing step forward, and I truly consider it at the top. (We don't need to Export our sounds with the animation, we just need to hear the Sound Track while we're in the Interface) 2. Oh good, I almost forgot this one. *Ahem* We need to be able to organize our Timeline Subjects better. In the old Mine-imator, we could exclude certain things from the Timeline's Objects all together. We really need to be able to do that again. We use plenty of decorations in our Rigs, and if the Rigger didn't originally organize their work, Animators cannot go back and put them in a folder because that would cause the Parenting to become ruined. Doing this simple thing will save Animators a lot of time. 3. (Here's where the list loses it's order) We would like a separate timeline for textures on both Characters and Blocks. 4. We would like more Keyframe Transitions. 5. We would like to scale a Body Part any way we'd like without it Bending crazily, if that's even possible. 6. Maybe more Minecraft features can be taken advantage of. For instance, if we could use the Super-Secret-Settings on the Camera to give all kinds of effects to our Animations, that would help a ton. Also, with the dynamic that Leads have in Minecraft, we could make a Lead-like connection between two Objects that stretches and bends. This would help us make things like flails and savage saliva strings and other great effects, especially if we controlled how many bends it had and the way they bend. Well, that's my two cents.   15. Alright, I know, I get it 100% making Mine-imator an online software is extremely hard and complicated, but I have faith in David that someday he will be able to do it. A couple reasons why multiplayer would benefit Mine-imator a crap ton is one, two or more people can work on an animation at once, say an animating squad/team is making a christmas animation, this way they can all work on it with eachother and it can make animation a lot more fun not to mention faster! Another way this would benefit Mine-imator is since it's online, we could have our own personal accounts for it, so just say that something went wrong with the program and Mine-imator crashes. If it's a fatal crash that causes you to loose projects you can retrieve all of them because they were all saved on your account! There are many other benefits for this but just take it in to consideration!

  17. For a while I've wanted to take a flat image and make it 3D like the option for items. I'm pretty sure this can be easily done seeing how the 3D option still works for different item textures. It would make some things way easier to make an image of any scale 3D than be limited to 16x16.
  18. so i had an idea for giving the outer layer, like hats and stuff, an option for a 3D effect, where it is not floating, and it connects yo your head in 3D. anyone else agree?
  19. I may not be the only one to have had this idea or anything, but it's still an idea. David, you dun very good with 1.0.0, but here's an idea I had. And if there's a way to make your own KEYFRAMES file to replace these, sorry for taking our time, people, but otherwise, here it is: I've noticed that entities such as, say, Creepers, don't have their "automatic walk" functions, as they don't have a keyframes file. Perhaps those could be added in a future update? (I don't expect one anytime soon, but later) And another thing: custom looping animations. The default ones are decent, I suppose, but some of us have different tastes, like making it more refined, sillier, etc. So maybe there could be a way to change this? That's all for now!

As you know, when you import text into mineimator, Right beneath the font setting in the library, there's a little check box that enables the text to constantly face the camera (sorta like a 2D item). While i don't use it that often (I still do though) I think that having the same option for Surfaces would be a lot more useful. Judging by the fact that it's a simple option, i'd assume it wouldn't be that difficult to impliment.

  23. So, special blocks in Minecraft are blocks that have movable parts right? So why not make a special item. A Bow. The bow would have a string or smaller blocks attached and then would bend where ever you move the middle one but keep hold of the bow its self. Kinda like the advanced bow rig but simplified.

  25. I had 4 suggestions in mind, so these are the once i had in mind. 1. Delete all button basically, if you have a file, and it's filled with items, characters, and instead of deleting the folder or deleting all items one by one, there should be a delete all button, so when you click it, it will of course ask you "are you sure?" so no one accidentally presses it, this can be helpful so you don't need to make 100 of file over and over just to test things, i have this problem, cause i have like.. 15 files that i never use, and i never delete them, but just because i wrote this i went to go delete them. 2. Render/picture but not show in editing so, you know if you take a screenshot/picture of anything, it will put the shadows on even if you dont press the "steve with shadows" and i wondered if it is possible to make a button that will hide, example: a scenery that will just show up in the render/picture, it will make it will be REALLY helpful for people that have poor computers, like mine. 3. Reset all parts sometimes when i have a full steve, and i pose him, and then i maybe didn't like the pose so i change it, meaning i need to reset all the parts, and yes i know about the Right click thing, but it would be better to just reset the whole object, so it basically reset the positions, scale, bend instantly 4. lock sunlight if you could lock like, the color of the sky, or the color of the shadows, that would be useful for me, i change the light color a lot, and if i change folder, it will go back to normal lighting.. so yeah That's all folks!
