  3. Hello there! The Mine-Imator Scientist is here! After a months of Research, Trials and Errors, Testing, I can finally collected an alternative way to create a Reflections Effects. In these spoilers, I put one by one of each spoilers a Hand Drawn Technic for creating a Reflections Effects From Simple, Into Fantastic Looking Effects. And the last thing is this: Diffuse Texture: Diffuse Texture Uses Duplicated Objects, Camera Effects, Object Textures, And etc. This can be done with playing around the Bloom Settings, And The 3 Point lights of each 3 Reflections. Full Videos about these Methods: At the End My Goal is Finally Finished. Facts!: I took too long to Collect All of my Reflection Researchs to Put it in All in one Videos, and then Post it On this Forum, It takes almost 1 Year to Collect all of this Methods idea. The Mine-Imator with Reflections is Already Exist, Code by @V.Isaac, But The Reflections Is Full of Bugs, But It is the First Try, Maybe Might Better on the Next Try. I am LacaMenDRY, The Mine-Imator Scientist, And Like Always. STAY CREATIVE! LacaMenDRY Render By: @FOXY TOONS
  4. Welcome Users! It's Me! LacaMenDRY. Today I'm going to show you guys about my RTX Effects on Mine-Imator. Well How I get it? Well I get it from My future version of myself 2027. I give myself a Mine-Imator 1.5.6 Versions to my presents version. After that,I tried some Renders,And What makes me Satisfied is This! Nah Just Kidding. It's My self from present days. I Actually Boring, and dono what todo so I trying A Random stuff,And here I got it. RTX Versions: Well I'm Serious. This was On Mine-Imator. Not Blender. How cool is that? Just imagine if MI get better, and better,What would it looks like? BTW here it is: I hope you guys Enjoyed,And Inspired you to make more renders. You Know? Just STAY CREATIVE!
  5. Believe or not, This is maded by Mine-Imator Software, of course. And this model like I said last few months. This is a Model that are using 3 Sphere, 3 Cylinder, And then 1 Cube,And then This got a Hyper Realistic Reflection visual effect on it, This is non edited. So here it is. Very nice right? So to do this I've been using 6 Spotlight. 4 On the front, And 2 On the back. Can this Render get inside showcase Tab?
  6. So with some Improvements On the Car, This time I need to tell ya guys about the car. This car is take the place From. Between Presents, And Future Theme. So that's why This Car looks like more futuristic, but the shape of it Is more like a classical Car for example is DeLorean. So here it is: And One last thing is I got an Idea To make My Own Car Company named Ustica in the future,If I luck enough. So know I know why UMA4 Is not MA4. That because This is the first car I ever Design With my own creativity Ideas, And Yeah I put the name from Ustica into MA4 Is to remember if this Car was the first time In The Ustica History. So just want to Highlight it for future generations. This image Does not Contain A Glow Egdes, So Forget About Glow Egdes. This Is MINE-IMATOR. And Like Always. STAY CREATIVE!
  7. So I Knew something new,That is MI can Set Inverted Values Wich is I don't know until @Keep on Chucking Make a video about Water Reflections. Then when I know if MI could do that.... You know what is gonna happen. Well THIS IS GONNA HAPPEN! So For the Sunlight that are exist In Water Dimension,I'm Use the Spotlight with Gigantic Settings. And I'm Sure That My Wonderful Potato Laptop Is Gonna Mad At Me... Like always. Assalamualaikum.
  8. What's up dudes! In this tutorial I'm showing off a quick and easy way to get reflective water for your Mine-Imator Creations!
  9. Reflective Effect Using Duplicate Object. Modeling With:Modelbench,And Made With:Mine-Imator. I was so Happy to make a Reflections Effect using all methods, Imagine That Mine-Imator For the first time to have real reflections maybe at 2027. I have a meme! Mine-Imator Update:Reflections Feature. Meanwhile Everyone At YouTube:Reflection,Reflections,Reflective,Reflections. That will be funny, but Awesome Time. I hope that One Day,Mine-Imator will have Reflections Feature. My Predictions Is 2027. 7 Years from now. But who knows? Only the Developer will know. I hope that I'm not doing wrong again with the text. My warn points now are 7. 3 Points Again then ''When I see you again Music is playing''.Well Guys,Stay Home,Stay Safe,And Most Importanly Take care of each other. Assalamualaikum.
  10. I HAVE AN IDEA! well Reflections Are impossible to add in MI. But I have an idea on how to make that From Impossible, into Possible! I am not the developer, but I know little things on how to make a program. I realize that Reflection Idea is, when I try to make A Reflection using Camera. So here it is: The reflection is the same method using camera, but Here's the thing! Basically When We use camera for Reflections, It did well, but when we move our second camera, or Viewport Around the mirror, or reflection. The Reflections Doesn't Change direction. Just like In Real Life. So My idea of making the Reflection is. When We Move Our Viewport, The Reflections will automatically Move directions, Depends Of How we move the viewport, or Work Camera. For the example: If we move the viewport into the right direction. The reflection will automatically change Mirroring Direction. Into the Left. Well if This Feature Was Added into MI.. I like to call it ACR, Or AUTO CHANGE REFLECTIONS. We can do this on MI version now, we'll if you from future, just to remind that I was posting this on 29,October,2020. We can do this by Simply Animating the Reflections Camera manually. But What I want is The next update of MI. This is my Idea for trick the Impossible feature, into Possible Feature. Well this is my idea. So if you agree. Let me now. Thank you.
  11. Hi Guys. Here's The Alternative Way To Make a Reflections Using Camera Of Course. If You guys Want to know how I make it. Use Camera. Or More tutorial abou it? tell me if you want the tutorial.
  12. The box prop was made by a friend of mine known as Terasal, while the can rig was made by me. Testing out reflections with photo realistic props and renders. Let me know how you think it looks! I used Adobe Photoshop for the reflections. Fun fact: The can rig is planned to be in an upcoming "Prop Pack" I'm working on.
  13. How to make reflective items?? In my previous tutorial, I showed you how to make flat square reflections, to make stuff reflect what's infront of them. It's achieved by using surfaces, cameras, the surface's texture property and of course, color and position adjustments. You can watch the tutorial here: Now I wanna explain how to do that with ITEMS We all know they aren't just square, but have an imperfect shape. Importing hundreds of surfaces is stupid and it will make you run out of memory and crash. There is a much simpler method. The alpha "glitch" can be used to your advantage, if you know how it works! The lower the number, the sooner the object will render - Example: if there's a block A with the render depth of -3 and alpha 3% (semi-transparent), behind of which is a block B with a render depth of 2, and behind THAT block is a block C with a render repth of -5, the result will look somethnig like this: the place where block A is is going to make the ground invisible (because the ground has the default render depth of 0, block A has a render depth of -3, so it rendered before the ground, therefore, we can see through it on the place where the block is), block B would be completely invisible, because it's render depth is on 2 and was rendered last, and we would be able to see block C, behind block A, floating in the void created by the "missing ground" If it sounds complicated, fear not, I've made a tutorial on that as well: Back to the reflective items, we want to use BOTH TECHNIQUES! First we add an item we want to reflect, and apply a square reflection on it (using the method from the first tutorial) and treating it as if it's a big flat surface. You will have your item under a big semi-transparent surface with a camera texture (reflection). But we only want the reflections to be visible on the item, not around it, so we're going to mess with the alpha glitch to only make them render in places we want to. 1. Draw a custom item identical to yours which is pitch black and color every pixel in the entire itemsheet square except the ones you want to reflect on your item (basically reverse your item, color everything except the part you want to have reflecting). Then lock it on your item and position it OVER the previously made reflection. Then import a few surfaces and position them in a way so they cover the rest of the overhanging reflection. You should be left with your item, but surrounded by a big black surface, except the part you want to be reflecting will be visible, and the camera texture should be seen on it. 2. Then simply, make the black surfaces's alpha value to 1% (so they're nearly invisible, but still allow the alpha glitch to occur. Then put the item's render depth to 1 (because you cant go below 0, or else you will glitch the ground again), put the black surface's render depths to 2 and the camera reflection surface's render depth to 3 That way: - the item (with the lowest render depth) will render FIRST - the black surfaces will render next, when the camera reflection hasn't rendered yet, and because it's nearly transparent, we're going to see through it - when the camera reflection wasn't rendered yet, so there wont be a camera reflection appearing in the regions where the black surfaces were - the camera reflection will render LAST and the only place where it can still be visible is the part of the black item we erased (the area we want reflecting) None of the items used go below the render depth of 0, so you wont experience any glitching! Finally, you use the new Mine-Imator 1.2.0's camera options to make the reflection look nicer and your item is now shining with reflection! Here's some visual material for the tutorial, so you can have an easier explanation to it: Caution: the semi-transparent surfaces might cause glitching to Mine-Imator's SSAO and other settings, so there will be a square appearing around your item, inside of which the image wont render 100% correctly - that's a bug i still need to fix (or the developers of the software)
  14. How to make reflections in Mine-Imator? There's a simple trick with surfaces and cameras, selecting the texture to be the camera, placing the surface above the item you want to reflect, decreasing the opacity, tweaking the multiply colors and you pretty much have a reflection! I've made a YouTube tutorial, explaining it in greater depth:

    How to do reflections?

So, i've seen a few rigs that use reflective surfaces. Can someone tell me how that works? Is it a setting in mine-imator or something else entirely?
  16. Hello! Yesterday, while the forums were down, I decided to try creating an effect of wet wood using reflections and specular textures. Enjoy. Rendered using Mine-imator 1.0.0, edited using Photoshop CC 2015. If you are interested, you can check out the VFX breakdown:
  17. Hi guys today I bring a test video effects in Mine-imator If you want a tutorial on how to do it, I discuss it. I speak Spanish, but I'll manage to do it in English suscribe to my channel
