  2. Hello everyone, as we near 2.0's full release I thought I'd release a cancelled update to the Mine-imator Community Build. (Based on Mine-imator 1.0.6, MICB 1.0.2.) This was cancelled for various reasons including crazy instability, overly ambitious, and with me switching priorities to creating Modelbench. I don't recommend using this for actual projects due to its many bugs, as I'm only releasing this for archival purposes. Most features and changes added in Mine-imator 1.2 -> 2.0 can be traced back to this project (New interface, materials, glow, etc.) and I didn't want to leave Mine-imator development until I was able to officially add back these features. (Nor did I want to cause fighting over if the mod or vanilla was better due to lacking these features.) I don't have an official changelog cause I never made one while developing this mod. Enjoy messing with this update that led to 2.0 being what it is. Between sessions you'll need to delete "settings.file" in the Data folder or else the program will crash on startup. (Also, don't report any bugs you find.) Download 1.1.0 (Jan 17th, 2017)

  9. Yay, The first ever Mineimator Mod I made a simple modification of Mine-imator 1.0.6. You can now edit the Icon's to your liking through external means, you can now also edit Watermarks and Fog Textures. Voxy inspired to make this as a first easy mod. They are now loaded externally from a folder called "Imports" in the Mine-imator director. Step 1: Download And Extract Step 2: There's a new folder called 'Imports', The Icon files are stored in there. Use an image editer to edit them to your will! Step 3: Run The Exe! Your Icon's will now be loaded. Random test images with scribbles and a Shovel instead of sword. Changing colours of the icons may have undesired effects when changing interface colour when in Mine-imator. Enjoy! Don't expect to much though.   12. This is not a Mime-imator project! I hope I am alright to post this here, as this is probably the best place to find great Minecraft animators. The Obsidian Animator is a brand new piece of software, that allows the animating of Minecraft models for use in game. It is part of the Obsidian Suite, an open source project that aims that aims to revolutionise the Minecraft modding and animating community by vastly improving upon existing model animation techniques for mods. The bombardier beetle the thing that could one-shot you even if you had full diamond. The creepr of the erebus except it doesn't die when it blows up it can blow you up as many times as it want's to. Titan beetle Stag beetle. The rhino beetle got i little bit of an update. It's legs can animate better and it has feelers and a mouth now.

  19. Hey guys. Glow is a feature that's been suggested quite a lot, and that was even considered to be added in 1.0.0, but... unfortunately, this isn't the case. However, with the source code being available for everyone, I managed to come up with a hypothetical method that, according to David, could potentially work. But since I have no coding experience, I was thinking that some experienced coder out here could do it. My method is based on what Mine-imator uses to render depth of field. Basically, the program will take the initial frame and create a blur passe by duplicating the frame and diverging those duplicates and merging them together. Then, it uses a depth map to restrict the blur effect to a particular zone, defined by the DoF settings: For glow effects, I'm thinking about using something similar. Basically, it'd involve having a passe of the object that has the glow effect enabled that'd be tinted based on the color the player uses. That passe would then be blurred using the same method as used by DoF, by diverging a bunch of duplicates. Finally, the resulting glow passe would be merged with the initial render passe to create the final rendered image. c: This is the most efficient way to do it I could think about, it doesn't seem too difficult to implement, as this is based on an existing feature, and it wouldn't be much laggier than depth of field! So, if there's anyone who can code, maybe you could give it a try?

I want to make a chance cube in an animation i'm working on but no matter how hard I try I can't create an image to browse for and load in over a block that comes out looking anything like a chance cube. I've tried net layouts first and found out it is apparently bitmapping instead so I made a bitmap of the sides of the chance cube with 2 rows of 3 making the last two blocks on the bottom row top and bottom while the others are the sides. 6 is the top and 1 is the bottom. Even in doing that I tried to change the size of the image multiple times because it was apparently not loading properly (appearing to be too large an image everytime) I really need help with this for my youtube channel thumbnail art.

  23. If you import a schematic, mod blocks disappear. Maybe it could create a cube with the name of the block (in mod:name format if available, otherwise with numerical IDs) if the importer sees a mod block? Then we could apply the texture ourselves. For example, if stone was a mod block, then the current system would replace stone with air. If this suggestion was implemented, it would replace them with white cubes which are named minecraft:stone.
