  1. Looks like 9redwoods won the game! Poor guy.... The fire on his eyes means he's raging. Table and chair rig goes to @Malaki_Animations and @Batman4014.
  2. is there a way to make mobs (specifically wolfs) to automatically walk/run?

    Ocelot Rig

after wolf rig I make Ocelot rig I put a poll on top it's about next rig I hope you enjoy it download link: http://www.mediafire.com/file/314ahw24d1d1i1b/Cats_Rig.rar/file I couldn't upload pic or video
  4. How to make custom creatures/mobs? It all has to do with how texture mapping works. If we take a look at regular/existing mobs, or at least their skins, we can see and recognise the faces on them, make out the face, etc. But if we pay close attention, we can see that the faces thouching them are in fact their neighboring faces. For example: the left side of steve's head will be positioned on the LEFT of his face on the skin. By that logic we could draw our own texture map for our "custom creature". First we have to imagine the dimensions of individual bodyparts, let's say 10x8x13. First draw a 10x8 square. Next to that square, you should have a 13x8 square, then a 10x8 and another 13x8. on top of those (starting in the upper right corner where the first face ends) there should be two 10x13 faces right next to each other, representing the top and the bottom of your cubic item. We then need to draw the coresponding textures to those faces (imagining them working as a whole). We then need to open the Modelbench! Make a new bodypart and give it a new shape. Import the texture you've just made and open up the UV editor. Assign the mapped texture to your shape. It should automatically scale in all dimensions to suit your texture. From there you need to position it in a right place to get the rotation point, make it bend, etc. Afterwards, do this for multiple bodyparts and "build" them thogether in Modelbench to make them corespond with one another. You can place all of your mapped textures to a single image file (to resemble minecraft skins), or use multiple different images. Both methods work fine. Lastly, you need to import the model into Mine-Imator! Stay Sharp!
  5. This is my first topic in Mine-imator forum. I didn't know what should I write, but here I give you one of my creations. Better Iron Golem As you can see, it's much better than the normal Iron Golem. I didn't add a mouth because I think it is useless. If you want it, I will add it as soon as possible. 10. On the bird rig pack one day, skjold said: "There should be more rigs like this" And Anthony said: "let there be mobs" So, anyway, here are some more mobs. 12. Hello once again! After 3 months of hard work, here it is! My newest animation! Long ago I posted a topic regarding me leaving animating, which got a lot more attention and love from you guys than I thought it would... I did consider strongly leaving animation because the project I was working on completely broke me, I tried really hard but it was simply too ambicious and complex for me at the time. I did not built my way up to such thing, therefore I ended up cancelling the whole thing. I apologize that I scared you guys saying that I was leaving (once again, I did not expect to get so much attention) after all, all I needed was to re-think where my animating path is going to take me and what do I want to do in the future. My most sincere apologies So I figured out that If I was gonna come back, It had to be good, I had to make an even better animation with all this new knowledge about lighting, cinematography, movements and all. I really hope you enjoy this one. With that apology out of the way, there's nothing else to say. Full volume, max quality and enjoy!: Credits: Animated by -StickyMations- Thank you all for watching! More stuff coming in the way!

  17. Hi there! I'm Sibernethy! I started out as a gaming channel on Youtube, bringing a fun, festive, cartoony vibe to lighthearted gaming videos. I was active there for about two years before I moved over recently to a site called Vid.me, where I currently am stationed. I made a trailer for a Minecraft animation called The Jester's Arsenal, a fun little movie showcasing 30 gag/joke weapons to use on all kinds of mobs, both unsuspecting and deserving! The trailer I made shows 3 of them and I'd love to finish this thing and show you guys the other 27. I drew all the gag weapons myself, including the ones you see in the picture above! I also made some of the sound effects in the trailer from scratch. I'm still new to the world of animation and I'm surprised I even produced something like this. With that in mind, I'm aware of a few flaws and minor hiccups, as well as the fact that I haven't learned how to do certain things yet. On a scale of 1-10, 10 being complete masters and 1 being absolute beginner, I'd say I'm at a 2-3 in the grand scheme of things. There's a lot I still need to learn but for a novice, how did this little thing fare? I welcome your feedback but I'll use my discretion as to which feedback to adopt. There's a difference between constructive criticism and being condemned to the fiery depths of Idaho (which really are fiery). If I hear any such sermons being preached on this thread, I'll study your work (and your words) carefully and see how well you can handle being shown up for it. No one likes having their work smeared and spat on, and this lad is no exception, but I absolutely welcome anything you genuinely feel would improve the quality of my work (even if it points out a few flaws).
  18. Here's another one. Unedited Version:
  19. Hello. Welcome to my first real rig. Or more like rigs. Meh. This set, when finished, will include all of the mobs.

    Erebus Beetle pack

http://www.mediafire.com/file/6w15j5h3twu6he9/Beetle+pack.zip Ladybug Normal beetle. I chose the albino one because you can change the colors so i made it easy to change colors of the beetle. The bombardier beetle the thing that could one-shot you even if you had full diamond. The creepr of the erebus except it doesn't die when it blows up it can blow you up as many times as it want's to. Titan beetle Stag beetle. The rhino beetle got i little bit of an update. It's legs can animate better and it has feelers and a mouth now.
  21. SO! after a long time of absence I`m back with a new rig which - I hope - won`t be the last before another break. if you were at all familiar with my rigs a while ago, you`ll know that they are...well....crash inducing. HOWEVER! this time - and from now on - I`ll be using the other method of using item textures witch will help, I guess. so here is the rig: (sorry for the poor quality of the .gif but it`s not easy to convert 50 images from the .png format, plus it`s my first time making one) image if the gif isn`t working: Download: http://www.mediafire.com/download/zrtkpyfd9bqgb61/Insane_Enderman.rar I request from all users of this rig to link this page in the description of the animation and to give me credit Now. for the people who don`t read the descriptions of projects, here it is : (because it contains information about the rig) _This is the first mob in the series "Insane Mobs" _The gray box, the blue Dots, the Two blue sticks and the gray eye Icon are the controllers for the model, the jaw, the head and the eyes respectively _I`d advise understanding the rigs`s fonctionment before using it _For the controllers not to show in the final render you`ll have to hide them in the timeline and un-hide all the other components attached to it AND un-check "show hidden objects" in the render options _Everything named "Assets" in the timeline is a folder containing the unimportant assets for animating of a specific body part SO DON`T PLAY WITH THEM !!! or else......? _And for no confusion, no the character doesn`t have legs, he has front and back arms, and a..."cloud" beneath him. -Also he has a core inside of him that you can animate at will. --- HAVE FUN !!! ---
