The DP28 (It appears we have western spy here, comrades.) The DP-27 was a Light Machine Gun that was created within the Soviet Union, where it had entered army trials in 1927, before its deployment in '28. It used the 7.62×54mm Rimmed cartridge (Same ammunition as the highly popular Mosin-Nagant bolt action rifle), usually with a 47 round pan magazine, fired at 550 rounds per minute, had an open-bolt design, and performed well during that era. It is best known for using the Pan Magazine format rarely found within firearms, and its use in the Second World War, as it is the last war the Soviet Union primarily used it in, before making further iterations of the same LMG, such as the RP-46.
