  3. What happened? I just went through installation. After the installation has completed, I launched it; a popup dialog stated that I need to reinstall the program. It added that I need to run the installation file as an administrator and/or install it somewhere else. Then after I reinstalled it in a different directory, I launched it again. Another popup dialog said that the previous launch crashed and asked me whether to report it or not. I decided to do so since it might help you out. After clicking yes, it opened up Chrome and a .txt file containing the logs (which asked me to include in this report). Additional Notes: Unfortunately, I was not able to take a screenshot of the popup dialogs. I am just a new user here and I am not aware of any existing rules. Apologies! LOGS

is massive or something?
  11. Alright, some background first. This is for a non-minecraft project, but I figured mine-imator would suit me fine for this, as I am familiar with it, and have already tried other tools, not finding any tool that seem more practical than Mineimator. My plan is to animate my character by some form of stop animation, replacing (hiding & showing) the images to create the "animation", if it could be called that. I decided to start with adding the head. I did my best to reduce the number of images total by splitting the avatar-character's head into as many components as possible. Now, I don't know if this is relevant, but since this might be an edge case, I figure this is worth mentioning. So, the result of this was a large number of image files that are like 95-99% transparent. (See linked zip with project files) I decided not to crop my images, so to ensure all the parts remain proportional. After adding a good number of those images, going though the necessary process of adjusting the render depth, folder hierarchy and frame visibility, all of them one by one... Mine-imator decide to crash. I load the latest save and repeat what I did last. Crash. I did it slightly differently, got another image or two in... crash. Now, I normally work using Linux (Linux Mint 18.3), by the help of Wine/Proton (Proton 3.16-8, via a Steam shortcut. Yes, that is a thing), so at first I suspected the crash was some kind of compatibility issue. So, to test that, I dug out my old laptop (Windows 8.1), downloaded the newest version of Mine-Imator, copied my files over, and simplified a test. Then I did it again, but this time with a (crappy) screen recorder. I don't know what is wrong, but since Windows asked, I had it start up good old Visual Studio to tell me what kind of crash it was. Not surprisingly, all it could tell me, was that Mine-imator had an unhandled exception at 0x015458CE, trying to write to 0x00000000. Yeah, a very generic "uh no, a null-pointer! Better go crash now!" situation. I would really appreciate this being fixed, or a working workaround found, as my current workflow is a bit.. well, overly complicated, and even more of a hack than this solution. But hey, at least that one works.
  12. This is the fourth time this has happened to me. Whenever I render certain projects (usually longer projects, but once it happened to an only seconds long project), at some random percentage, some Win32 error pops up (what it says varies, but it says something about being unable to create some stencil or it's unable to accomplish some task). I was using MI version 1.2.2 this time and it has become a recurring issue. It even happens to projects I render a second time after the first time worked.

  18. Hi everyone! To start off, I'm not new to Mine-Imator. I was using it for quiet some time, and it was probably a week ago, when I downloaded the unofficial version of Mine-Imator 1.2.0, today, I downloaded the official version and this just happened to me: I was making one of another pictures for my ongoing roleplay and when I tried importing one of self-made schematics from MCEdit, the schematic just wouldn't load. It would result in Mine-Imator crashing afterwards. I tried doing it with other schematics, same result. I tried once more, since third time's a charm, but with a smaller schematic, and believe it or not, it loaded, without Mine-Imator crashing. I did uninstall and install again Mine-Imator, yet still no hope with bigger schematics. I think there might be a problem with bigger schematics, since a schematic of simple house loaded without any other problem. Could anyone then, please, tell me, if there is any way to overcome this problem?   24. Whenever I start up Modelbench (the latest version), I always am greeted with 4 Code Error windows, one of which is a Fatal Error. Code Error window 1: Code Error window 2: Code Error window 3: Code Error window 4 (FATAL ERROR): As far as I know, there is no way to recreate this except launching the application from the Windows 10 Start Menu. There are no associated models with this crash, though. It is just the program causing the crash. It works fine when directly opening it through the installation folder, however.
