  1. Hey, animators! This pack contains all the sound effects and songs from Minecraft, extracted by yours truly for you to use in your own creations. All the sounds are provided as is, in their original Ogg Vorbis format, sorted in the same folder structure that the game uses. Enjoy!
  2. Update 4 (May 16th 2021) Note: The original topic was hidden, so I have to renew the topic again. Sorry though. At least, the topic looks cleaner than before. I took some inspiration from The Modelbench Armory, by the way. You need decent sounds for your animations? Well, you’re in the right place (I think). This topic will cover some categories, especially things that are related to firearms. Anyway, feel free to use them. You don’t have to give credit, although it is appreciated. This topic was created to revive the “Sounds” subcategory, as well. Credits to the people who make mods for NWI games (Insurgency and Day of Infamy), as well for other games like Ravenfield, and Minecraft. Guns: Bullets: Voiceovers: Vehicles: Thanks for spending some time here, I hope these will be helpful in the future.

  4. 1. Making "3D Sounds" 3D Sounds are so hard, so I will show you how to do something that is more or less 3D sounds in your animation. This techne I have do it in every video or animation I have ever make. Make the sound get higher volume when the camera is more near to the sound source and make it match to make more realistic. For example, when walking passing through camera: 3D Sound: Correct mode, the peak and higher place of the green mountains shows where the sound's volume is higher and also when the source is nearest to the camera and also, the spectator. 2D Sound: Wrong mode, there is no peak, always the volume is the same, doesn't matter where is the sound source from the camera. 2. Good Ambience A good ambience is the key for any animation. If a fire is very near to the spectator but there is no fire sound, is just not realistic. More advanced is like, when the spectator know where is the fire placed but there is no showed on the screen but also is near to the camera, put the sound to make it realistic at all. 3. Good Music Like the good ambience but a little bit different. A music is not sounds from a sound source or anything else. It's just a music that makes the spectator feel more the animation. A tension music will be good with a tension part or tension animation, or funny or stupid music for funny, weird or ridiculous part of an animation. Find the best music for any moment. /\ - A sad music for a sad moment \/ - A tension music for a tension moment 4. Match the video with the sound. Dont forget the most important part. A sound will need to match the moment when the sound is really needed. For example. Placing a torch, you will need to zoom in the most to find the moment when then torch is placed and make feel it more realistic. No one wants to hear a torch placing 2 seconds later than when the torch has been placed. Don't you? Not everytime the sound start will be the perfect place. Find the more realistic way. 5. More quantity of the same sound sources, also more sounds Sometimes, there are a lot of fire, for exaple, but 2 fires aren't the same that 1 fire. So, put the quantity that sees more realistic. Don't put exactly the sounds matching each fire because it will be a very good torture for the spectator, and we don't want that. Don't you? Try to level the quantity of sounds, quantity of sources and also the volume. Depends on the sound are placing, The fire.mp3 sound isn't very bad with 3 but it's rare. However, this is only an example. Hear what you are making before posting it . Thanks for reading, hope I helped you and comment what do you think about this 5 tips for make better audio in your animations.
  5. I can make gun sounds for anyone who wants them! Just make sure you show me what gun it is... I'm only going to be able to do them on July 13, because I'm going to be on vacation the next day. 10. (before I start please not that I usually do rigs topics so if this is in any way out of subject please forgive me) so Whenever we want to animate we alwase need to add the sounds afterwords and it`s alwase a pane to time the animation to the sounds/music so I was thinking if in the next update we could have above the animation timeline two buttons: one to show the animation timeline the other for the sounds timeline so we could import the sounds or music into mine Imator (and place them like we do with the animation markers) and it would play them along with the animation whenever we press space or play the animation to see how it looks so yeah just a little detail I was thinking about that could help many in a lot of ways and make animating easier thanks for reading
  11. Hello, I've created a mix between original gunshots and dubbed them into high tech. Futuristic weapons of mass destruction. This is my first SFX pack and my first time dubbing and mixing sounds to create one sound. This video can give you a general Idea of what kind of power I mean when I say "Mass Destruction". Oh and I also created the visual effects by mixing stock footage and created... magic. This was also a test with everything.. I'm trying to use AE/ MineImator for efficiently than before now. 13. Who has the sounds of Minecraft in MP3 format?please
  14. Sounds in animations make it better, you literally need 2 programs to add sound, and i'm not downloading more programs. I suggest item, something like a noteblock, it's gonna be in the timeline, playing at whenever you want, and there's gonna be an option where it can only be heard from a distance, or wherever you want.
  15. Me and Skjoldminecraft are both working on a parody of Katy Perry - Roar and we need a female singer or a male singer that sounds female, it really doesn't matter how old you are as long as you sound mature, my Skype is ervinasubartas, here is what you have to sing so I can see if you are good for this job: ______________________________________________________________________ "I've got the powers to ban you and kick you. Watch you while you're sleeping." It starts at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=CevxZvSJLk8#t=66 Or: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x1op_5eQpmo#t=46 On the instrumental. ______________________________________________________________________ This is made on C4D, but the reference is made on Mineimator. Here is the pic of a bit of it. http://postimg.org/image/i00sz8x8l/ I WILL need your Skype name.

  18. Okay, so I've converted all of the .ogg files I need into MP3's and opened my animation in Windows Movie maker, but either Windows movie maker is the most BUGGY PILE OF CRAP, or I'm using it wrong, because whenever I place sounds, it moves all other sounds I have put in to random places, so trying to make my finished product is impossible. Can someone either give me a name of an application that is NOT a pile of crap, or just tell me why it's doing that, and how I can fix it? Thanks.
  19. Well...we can add a sound axis. Like the timeline. Start playing from the set point. Set the number. 1.= Fencing sound 2.= Picking up things sound 3.= Open the chest sound 4.= Player hurt sound 5.= (Player animals mob) drop the ground sound ........ Then we can add sound in the number........ Is a good idea?
  20. This was made using some snippets of Episode 1. No storyline conveyed over here, just a trailer. I do not own any rights to the music. Music is Young Blood by Audiomachine. You can thank WMM for the distorted white noise and lack of effect near the end. Oh, and also thank the quality programmers for the sudden disappearance of any sound effects. Whatsoever. It also might seem laggy and/or slow. Maybe it's just my computer. Ah, well. More trailers to come! Main topic: Voice actor/cast list: Slightly off-topic, this is apparently topic #2000. Hooray, Mine-imator forums.
