This may be personal, but i honestly don't know why nobody does this little shadow thingy. In my opinion, it looks much nicer. This is what normal mineimator shadows look like: And this is what shadows look like with this option: I mean, you have to admit. the second image looks much nicer. It's also more realistic, since shadows only blur irl when they are far away. The shadow on the second image wasn't even the sharpest. The sharpest is 0.
